About

A Pennsylvania crew

Modern American Construction LLC, owned by Chris and Amanda Miller. Home renovations, concrete, and fence. Quality craftsmanship. Honest work.

Modern American Construction LLC is owned by Chris and Amanda Miller. We are a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor in south-central Pennsylvania. The work is the work on the card: kitchens and bathrooms; flooring, tile, and carpentry; drywall, trim, and painting; decks and porches; concrete and fencing; siding and exterior work.

New homes need a finish that matches the drawing: a drive that meets the garage, a patio that meets the slider, a fence that looks like it was always on the lot. Old homes need a pour and a remodel that respect floors that have settled. We do both, with the same crew, so the thresholds line up.

You get a walkthrough, a written number, and a jobsite that is left cleaner than we found it. Call (717) 884-1737.

Questions

Before you call

  • Yes. New-home finish-out and old-house remodeling are both on the card. Kitchens, baths, floors, decks, siding, concrete, and fence — whether the house is still in the builder’s hands or has been standing since the 1920s.

  • A walkthrough, then a number with scope, materials, finish, and a calendar. The range on this site is a planning number. The bid is what we put in writing after we see the property.

  • Yes. Modern American Construction LLC is licensed, bonded, and insured. Chris and Amanda Miller own the company. We leave the jobsite cleaner than we found it.

  • Typical residential drive: form one day, pour the next, keep it wet, cars on it the following week if weather holds. Weather, access, and thickness move that.

  • When the mix, blankets, and forecast allow it. If they don’t, we tell you and we wait. A cold pour that fails is more expensive than a spring pour that doesn’t.

  • Pennsylvania: Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, and south-central Pennsylvania. New Jersey: Cherry Hill, Vineland, Atlantic County, and South Jersey. If you are close and the job is a fit, call (717) 884-1737.
